What are the Seating Policies?
Seating is General Admission which means there is no reserved seating. Seating areas include both On Field and Grand Stand seating. The designated On Field seating area is limited so be sure to arrive early!

Can I bring lawn chairs?
Guests are welcome to bring their own foldable lawn chairs/bag chairs for the designated On Field seating area (seats are not provided in this area). Lawn chair seating area is limited. To ensure clear sightlines for all guests, only low “beach style” lawn chairs with a seat no higher than 9” off the ground and 32” total height are permitted. possibly opening bands also earlier)

What time do gates open?
Gates open at 4:30pm, first band at approx. 5:30pm (possibly additional opening bands earlier). On Field lawn chair seating is limited so be sure to arrive early. Event ends at approx. 11:00pm.

Where can I park?
There are numerous parking lots around Shaw Park‎ just south of the ballpark with access from Pioneer Avenue, William Stephenson Way and Waterfront Drive.  Fans requiring wheelchair access can be dropped off near the Security Entrance on the west side of the ballpark; event staff will be present to help direct you to accessible seating areas.   

Is there accessible seating?
Yes, wheelchair-accessible seating will be available at Shaw Park. Event staff will direct you.  

Will there be a rain date?
Winnipeg Classic RockFest runs Rain or Shine – Tickets are non-refundable. 

Are there ATMs?
Automated Banking Machines are located in Shaw Park on the Concourse behind Sections J, N & S. 

Can I smoke at the festival?
Smoking isn’t permitted in Shaw Park but there will be a designated smoking area for this event.  

Can I bring my own food/drinks?
No outside food & beverage allowed. Onsite concessions and bars located along the main Concourse area are available, offering a wide variety of meals, snacks and beverages.

Will there be Beer Gardens?

Definitely! :) 

Are there age restrictions?
No, Winnipeg Classic RockFest is an All Ages event; Children two years old and younger do not need a ticket to enter Shaw Park when accompanied by an adult. 

Are animals permitted?
No animals permitted. Exceptions include guide, service and/or signal dogs to persons with disabilities. 

Are cameras allowed?
Yes, amateur photos are permitted. Any photos that are taken can be for personal use only. Please respect the audience and the artist when snapping your shots. In order to use professional cameras, such as those with detachable lenses, you must get a media pass for the use of that camera. 

Where is the Box Office located?
The Box Office (or Ticket Office) is located at street level on the west side of Shaw Park. Tickets are available to purchase the day of the event but we recommend buying tickets in advance for lower pricing and to avoid box office lineups. 

Is there First Aid available?
Yes, it will be clearly marked; event staff can help you get there if you need it. 

Can I bring an umbrella?
Umbrellas are permitted with the following exceptions; no oversized/golf/beach umbrellas will be permitted. 

Where will washrooms be located?
Washrooms will be located on the concourse level and Field level. Wheelchair-accessible washroom facilities are also available.

EVENT GUIDELINES

  • No weapons or fireworks allowed. 
  • All patrons are subject to being searched as a condition of entry. Winnipeg Classic Rock Fest reserves the right to refuse admittance or to evict anyone who creates a disturbance, causes a nuisance or breaks any of the above Rules & Regulations without refund of admission. 
  • Lewd conduct, of any kind, will not be tolerated and if in violation patrons will be removed from the festival site. 
  • Prohibited Items: In the interest of guest safety and enjoyment at Shaw Park, Management reserves the right to prevent certain items from being brought into the venue.Prohibited items include, but are not limited to the following: 

  1. food, alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs, non-alcoholic beer 
  2. glass bottles or cans 
  3. ice chests or hard-sided coolers 
  4. sticks/clubs (including signs attached to sticks) 
  5. camera tripods or monpods 
  6. fireworks and confetti  
  7. bullhorns, cow bells or other noisemakers
  8. animals, except certified services dogs 
  9. beach balls or other inflatable items
  10. bicycles
  11. skateboards or roller blades 
  12. squirt guns or super soakers 
  13. laser pointers 
  14. weapons of any kind
